Tan Tarn How is a Singaporean playwright, children's book author, and senior research fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies, Singapore. He formerly worked as a teacher, journalist, scriptwriter, policy researcher, and arts activist.
From 1997 to 1999, Tan was Head Scriptwriter for Drama Production at the Singapore Television Corporation (now MediaCorp). He joined TheatreWorks (now T:>Works) as its associate artistic director in 2002.
